Nettailer offers versatile data export capabilities, allowing you to conveniently export data in various ways. This functionality proves invaluable for tasks like creating feeds for price comparison sites, sharing Price levels with customers, or integrating data with other systems seamlessly.
When exporting data, you have the flexibility to choose between exporting as a single file or exporting to FTP. Each export can be customized to meet your specific requirements. This customization includes defining FTP settings, such as FTP addresses and export ranges, as well as configuring "File Settings," "Selections," and "Fields."
To further refine the export, you can specify the sort order of the fields using the "Sort Order" field. Simply assign numerical values like 10, 20, 30, and so on to determine the order in which the fields should be exported. Nettailer will export the fields in ascending order based on these settings.
With Nettailer's data export features, you have the power to streamline your processes and ensure efficient data integration.
When utilizing the sort order feature in Nettailer's data export, it's important to note that fields with no assigned value in the sort order will not be included in the export. By default, if a field has a sort order value of zero, it will be excluded from the exported data.
This behavior ensures that only the fields you specifically designate in the sort order will be included in the export, optimizing the efficiency and relevance of your exported data. You have full control over which fields are exported, allowing you to tailor the output according to your specific needs.
By leveraging this functionality, you can streamline your data exports by excluding any unnecessary or irrelevant fields, resulting in cleaner and more focused data integration with other systems or processes.
This option enables the availability of the job result/file through a system-generated URL with a unique ID. It's important to note that the URL does not require any login credentials, meaning that the data can be accessed directly via the URL if the unique ID is known.
If you need to generate a new URL with a different unique ID, you can simply click on the "Generate new URL" function. This allows for secure access to the job result/file while maintaining the flexibility to generate fresh URLs as needed.
Run Option Nettailer provides you with a range of options to determine when your export should be executed. Here are the different choices available:
Run once | By enabling this setting, the export job will be scheduled for execution once, and once it has run successfully, the status will automatically change to "Has run once". This default setting helps prevent unnecessary daily runs of the job.
Active | With this setting, the export job is configured to run on a daily basis. Each day, the job will be executed to ensure that the export process is performed regularly and consistently. This allows for up-to-date data and ensures that any changes or updates are reflected in the exported files on a daily basis.
Disabled | Job will not run daily and save system resources. Disable is an alternative to delete jobs you might need later.

A sales order is an XML structure that contains information about:
The customer
The products (data can be used to create new products in ERP)
The suppliers (supplier data regarding the products and their latest known availability and prices)
The purchase orders (if the order is exported after purchase orders are created)
The serial numbers (if the order is exported after delivery has occurred)
Track/Trace (if the order is exported after delivery from supplier has occurred)
Export of sales orders can in Nettailer be configured under [Exports / XML single objects] and by default supports PUSH to FTP/SFTP or web service.
It is possible to configure when the export should occur:
When the sales order is created
When purchase orders for the sales order are created
When the order status changes
Manually
Our standard recommendation is to configure the export to occur when the purchase order is created. This ensures that there is a relationship between the sales order and the purchase order when they are created in the ERP. However, this depends on the desired process flow.
As an alternative to the PUSH method, Netset can configure web services for PULL:
/orderlist List with new (not requested) sales orders
/order Get a specific sales order; same sales order can be requested multiple times.
The XML structure and content of sales orders and purchase orders remain the same regardless of the method used. However, there are pieces of information that are dynamically added and thus depend on the export timing, such as order status, serial numbers, and track/trace information.
Latest version of the sales order XML is 38.
